In this era of change, complexity and often confusion when seeking health care, our 40 years of experience makes a difference.  We are able to provide coordinated psychotherapy and psychopharmacologic treatment in one location. Our historically restored victorian house has become a symbol in the community for quality professional service in a safe and comfortable setting.

We view therapy as having four steps toward successful treatment.

  • Identify and understand the problem
  • Relieve immediate distress and conflict
  • Promote individual or family problem-solving  skills
  • Lay the foundation for long-term improvement and growth

Treatment plans are designed to meet the particular needs and circumstances of each client.

This starts with matching the client with the therapist most likely to help reach defined goals. Experienced clinical intake specialists obtain relevant information to determine the most appropriate therapist — if none is available, we will suggest alternatives outside of Boundaries.

Taking the next step with us.

An initial call to Boundaries at 978-263-4878 will connect a prospective client to our Secretary who will take preliminary contact and insurance information. This information is passed on to an intake clinician who can be expected to return a call as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours.  (We are not able to handle emergencies for new callers.)  The Intake Coordinators gather information over the phone and match new clients with clinicians who treat the presenting problems, are covered by the client’s insurance, and can meet at a time convenient for the client. First appointments are generally available within 7-10 days.
